For the final driving day of our trip, we would stay on the eastern side of Sardinia with our evening destination being the Hotel Cala di Volpe. However, our first stop would provide some enjoyment for a group of young people as parking had been arranged along a back street of the small town we visited for our coffee stop.

Our drive continued and Diane captured a few of the challenges on the back roads of Sardinia…
Not only would the views driving prove breathtaking, our stop for lunch at Su Gologone Experience Hotel was simply amazing…

Pizza and items from the wood burning oven were astounding…
And, for this stop, we even had a Porsche film crew with us since this is the first Porsche Driving Experience in Sardinia and Corsica….the surprises never stopped!

It was a great group that joined us with cameras, drones, actors….quite a team!
After this amazing lunch, it was onto the Hotel Cala di Volpe which is just above Olbia. I borrowed the picture below from their website because it shows the beauty of this fine resort.
Our incredible guides for this adventure, Melanie and Ivo made sure everyone finished their driving experience. And, we pulled into the hotel with everyone having had a once in a lifetime opportunity to drive cars that were returned without a single scratch!

This was another two-night stay and while we turned in our cars, we were treated to time to relax at the pool and as well as a beautiful boat excursion. More on that in the last report in the series coming tomorrow.
