I get asked about stuff I like from hats to technology to useful gadgets. I thought it might be fun to share a few in case you find something you like. And, I’d welcome any reader suggestions. For those, I’ll create a post for “Stuff You Like.”

Hats that Fit

Whether due to heredity or too many years in Washington, D.C., I have a large head (7 7/8s) and I get tired of caps that just don’t really fit. Here is the solution. And, if they fit me, they will fit you!

Clean Drinking Water

With a well, we get all the water we need. And, with a simple system for purifying the water, we fill coffee makers, water bottles, ice cube trays and that glass of water!

Mark Twain

I’ve always enjoyed learning more and Ron Chernow has done a a remarkable job with this book about Twain’s life story.

Drones

There are so many out there, but I along with friends have been successful capturing all manner of aerial photographs using the DJI Mini…here is the newest model.

A Really Good Flashlight

I stumbled onto Nebo flashlights and like to keep one in the car. It recharges and does an excellent job of lighting up things in the dark! There are a lot of choices, but this size and power has worked well for me.
