Travel by Boat to La Maddalena Archipelago

Ninth and final in a series about our travels in Sardinia and Corsica

We enjoyed a relaxing morning with breakfast by the pool before an excursion on two beautiful powerboats to the La Maddalena Archipelago. The tour culminated in lunch at Liska restaurant with a fabulous seafood meal.

We returned in time to relax before a short drive into Porto Cervo where there were shops everywhere along with a very attractive outdoor bar, La Piazzetta. After their famous Bellini and other beverages, we were then ready for our last dinner together as a group and what a dinner it was!

Dinner at the Quattro Passi al Pescatore included a surprise birthday cake for one of our great friends who had organized our group. It was a fitting ending to a really wonderful eight days.

And, on the ninth day of our adventure to Sardinia and Corsica we headed to flights going in all directions. Diane and I flew to Frankfurt and then onto Washington’s Dulles Airport.

We had enjoyed wonderful cars, wonderful food and, most important of all, wonderful people!

Truly wonderful people, a place and an experience we will long remember!
