For several years, I owned and flew a Husky airplane. The aircraft held two people and was designed for backcountry flying, something I came to really enjoy. While never traveling fast, every flight was great fun. And, one adventure took me from Frederick, Maryland to attend the big annual EAA airshow in Oshkosh, Wisconsin before traveling on to Alpine, Wyoming and an airstrip where people enjoyed living with their aircraft.
For afternoon fun, a group of pilots invited a colleague and me to fly our Huskys with them over the Snake River. It was a great place to wander above the river and enjoy the views.
My colleague captured the flight in this 20 minute video. At times, you can see the aircraft following the river and moving back and forth across the screen.
The flight back took me along side the Grand Tetons and near Yellowstone National Park. Sometimes, going slow is the best way to go!
Great tour thanks for sharing
Makes me want to buy a LSA! Thanks for the ride!
